How to Shoot like a Pro with a DSLR Camera and Photoshop CS5 Workshop

16-19 September 2011, Hervey Bay

Toowoomba-based Photographer, Don Hildred will present a four-day workshop at the forth annual USQ McGregor on the Bay this September.

This workshop is designed for anyone who has a burning desire to understand and work more like professional photographers using the most up-to-date version of Adobe Photoshop CS5.

The first two days will be dedicated to understanding the theoretical and practical aspect of your digital camera, we will discuss the new Raw file format and the “Triangle Exposure Theory”  - the holy grail of manual photography. Hands on practical work will cover Macro, HDR and High Speed photography as well as photographing our model.

Days three and four will focus on Photoshop with techniques to improve your digital darkroom work flow. Topics covered include: Adobe Bridge, Abode Camera Raw (ACR) working with non-destructive adjustment layers and layer masks just to name a few.

By the end of the course you will also have covered monitor calibration and some very useful time saving Photoshop techniques along with the set-up of an A3 exhibition print, assembling an A4 calendar and combining your Panoramas and HDR images.

All in all a great workshop for intermediate to advanced photographers!

We would be grateful if you could pass this information onto your members and associates.
